VirtConsole 3.2.2.3 is a full release for both the management server and the hypervisor agent.
Storage and import
Storage pools backed by LVM and ZFS now report real size and free space, and their health thresholds fire; the node probe and the management server had been disagreeing on field names. The Virtualizor importer owns an explicit column map, checks the live schema before it writes anything, reports export fields it does not use, and refuses to import the same node twice. Imported machines keep their LVM or ZFS volumes and get the platform’s block-device names, and each one is matched to a catalog image by its OS name, so it shows its real OS instead of “unknown” and inherits the image’s cloud-init default. A new vcli import:prepare command installs the QEMU guest agent and cloud-init (or cloudbase-init on Windows) into a stopped imported disk with libguestfs, so password resets, SSH key pushes and one-click apps work on migrated machines too.
Also in this release
- New installs use
/home/virtconsolefor the agent home, andvcliexports the same home the services use. - Under CSF, the agent leaves firewalld and ufw alone during deploys.
- Statistics deltas carry the node’s own snapshot time, so a slow network cannot shift a watermark.
- The instance API returns explicit resources with a pinned wire contract, and plan media groups are back on the API surface.
Update from the panel under System > Updates. Update the hypervisor agents first, then the management server.
