VirtConsole 3.2.3

A rebuilt admin and user panel: one list engine with search and filters everywhere, step wizards for every create flow, tabbed instance and profile pages, a live monitoring overview, and a single light/dark token set, plus fixes across backups and MicroVMs.

VirtConsole 3.2.3 is a full release for both the management server and the hypervisor agent. Where the last few releases added capability (MicroVMs, managed database PITR, Kubernetes traffic splitting), this one rebuilds the panel itself: every list, every create flow, and every detail page, in one consistent design across the admin and user sides.

A refreshed admin panel

The sidebar is data-driven and permission-gated, and it now carries a three-state theme switch: light, dark, or follow the system. Every list in the admin panel, users, instances, hypervisors, billing, support, the scheduler, runs on one shared engine: search, filter chips, a checkbox column, and a click on the row opens the resource’s own page instead of a modal. Plan groups, storage pools, and the other picker-heavy pages share a single drawer for mapping plans to locations.

Detail pages follow the same shape everywhere: a header with the actions that matter, a KPI strip, and flush tables instead of a wall of tabs. The dashboard now remembers which alerts an admin has dismissed, keyed to the condition that raised them, so a cleared warning does not come back until something actually changes. The scheduler page shows per-command run counters and only loads its failure history when you ask for it, instead of pulling every run on every page load.

A refreshed user panel

The user side gets the same list engine, and every create flow, Kubernetes clusters, MicroVMs, VPCs, managed databases, block storage, private DNS zones, is a step wizard instead of a single long form. Managed databases and load balancers create in a full-page modal, and Cloud Service instance creation is one flow: pick the OS and access options, the plan type, and the network, then deploy.

Instance manage and the account profile page are both tabbed now: Network, Backups, Snapshots, Firewall, Docker, Forge, CPU and Tasks on one instance page instead of scattered cards, and Account, Security, and Password for the profile. Monitoring gained an overview that shows every resource at once, filterable by type, with a chart drawer instead of a separate page per resource. The sidebar carries a live credit card showing balance, usage, and days left at the current burn rate, and Billing, Profile, API, and Support stay put as their own items instead of collapsing into a menu.

Across both panels, light and dark mode now share one token set, so a chart, a modal, or a status pill looks the same shade of correct in either theme.

Also in this release

  • Managed PostgreSQL full backups no longer fail when WAL segments recycle mid-backup, and a failed backup now shows the tool’s own error instead of a generic message.
  • The Web SSH latency tile now works for public-IP guests, measured off the relay’s own keepalive response.
  • The batch health check reports PostgreSQL WAL archiver status, so the PITR window and archiver health are real numbers, not placeholders.
  • Instances report a state freshness (fresh, stale, or unknown) computed once on the server, so a node that is slow to answer no longer shows a false “Stopped.”
  • MicroVM image cards say up front whether the web shell and SSH are available for that image.
  • VPC subnets are back in every picker that needs them, including load balancer and managed database create.
  • The Virtualizor importer converts plan network rates from KB/s to Mbit/s correctly.
  • Fresh nodes install the agent under the VirtConsole brand’s media root, not a leftover from the old name.
